Chengdu holds the first place in the 2020 New Fashion Capital Index Report.
The report, co-released by Vogue Business in China and EY-Parthenon on November 21, focuses on the competitiveness of the 12 surveyed cities (Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Shenyang, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Xiamen, Tianjin, Qingdao and Dalian) on five aspects in the fashion industry, including spending power, commercial potential, cultural charm, creative talent and development market.
After the scientific analysis on the big data for months, Chengdu outperformed all of the candidate cities in the fields of spending power, commercial potential, cultural charm, as well as topped the final ranking, indicating the city's comprehensive strength of economy, business and culture.
