Two Giant Pandas Come to Qianling Mountain Park

Two giant pandas from Chengdu, named “Xing Bao” and “Hai Bang”, have found their new home in Guiyang.
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding sent two giant pandas to Guiyang Qianling Mountain Park on April 12 for a three-year science publicity and education program.
To ensure that the pandas are well taken care of, Qianling Mountain Park has arranged professional panda keepers, vets and security staff at the newly built panda base, which covers 10,736 square meters and costs a total of RMB38 million ($6.04 million).
The base is equipped with air conditioning, food processing machines and medical devices to ensure the happy life of the pandas.
