Exhibition Marking Panda Discovery Held in Paris

An exhibition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the “discovery” of the giant panda, Panda Embraces World, co-organized by Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Chengdu Panda Base) and MUSÉUM NATIONAL D’HISTOIRE NATURELLE (French National Museum of History and Nature), was launched in Paris, France on Sept. 5, local time.
The exhibition, highlighting the history and cultural significance of the global efforts for the preservation of giant pandas, consists of five parts: Panda and History, Panda and Protection, Panda and Art, Panda and Love and Exhibition of Sino-French Agricultural Park. The exhibition puts on stage the achievements, international cooperation, science education and artistic influence of the giant panda with streamers, display boards, artistic works, cultural and innovative products, live streaming, VR and etc.
Chengdu Panda Base has brought its art exhibition to cities around the world including Chengdu, Beijing, Hong Kong, Macao, Tokyo, Berlin and Copenhagen.

GoChengdu Classes on World Culture: Training Pandas at Panda Base!

GoChengdu Classes on World Culture, organized by Chengdu’s city portal website gochengdu.cn, will come to a new session ― and maybe the most exciting part so far ― as the program of Training Pandas is to be staged on the afternoon of August 30 at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Panda Base).
