This campaign was firstly launched on the official website of the FISU WUG (www.2021chengdu.com), open to the public to solicit entries from all over the world. There will be three stages of the solicitation: entries submission, entries evaluation, and global promotion. The award-winning song (the anthem) will be widely used in various occasions, including the opening & closing ceremonies, the torch relay campaign, various volunteer services, competition events and so on, and will have the opportunity to be promoted globally.
Meanwhile, Lang Lang & Zhang Liangying, the image ambassadors of the WUG, and Xu Weizhou, the image ambassador and emblem and mascot spokesman, will be the soliciting initiators of the campaign, and more than a hundred Chinese influential musicians will jointly take part in.
Any musicians, musical groups and members of the general public passionate for sports and interested in the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, regardless of age, gender or occupation, are welcome to participate.
High cash reward for the global solicitation
There will be one first prize with a cash reward of RMB 80,000, one second prize with RMB 40,000, one third prize with RMB 20,000, and seven excellent prizes with respectively RMB 10,000 (all the above prizes are before tax). After the submission deadline, the Executive Committee will establish an evaluation committee to assess all the proposals and finalise the winners by late January 2021. The winning songs will by default become candidates for the 2021 FISU WUG anthem.

Solicitation channels: People who are interested in the event can visit the official website of the WUG (www.2021chengdu.com) to find more information, download materials and upload proposals.
