Chengdu, Gomel Forge Friendly, Cooperative Tie-GoChengdu

Chengdu and Gomel, Belarus, signed an agreement on establishing a friendly and cooperative tie recently.

The Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office announced the news on November 9.

Located in the southeast of Belarus, Gomel is the administrative center of Gomel Voblast, Belarus. Covering 135 square kilometers, the city has a population of 520,000. Its leading industries include machinery manufacturing, food processing, chemical industry and construction material production. Currently, its main trading partners are Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland and Italy.
