City Launches Global Solicitation for Logo, Mascot for Chengdu Panda Asian Gourmet Festival

You are welcome to submit entries for the global logo and mascot contest for the Chengdu Panda International Gourmet Festival.
On March 22, Chengdu launched a global solicitation for the logo and mascot for the Chengdu Panda International Gourmet Festival, which is scheduled to take place in May here in the city. Before March 31, veteran or amateur designers or design teams around the world, regardless of geography, age and occupation, are all welcome to submit their designs and show their unlimited creativity and enthusiasm for food.

Winners for the event will be chosen based on votes both from the public and experts. Those from the former will account for 30 per cent, and those from the latter 70 per cent of the total score. There will be two gold awards, each with RMB50,000, one for a logo designer, another for a mascot designer; and, eight silver awards, each with RMB10,000, four for logo designers, and another four for mascot designers. Besides, according to online votes, the two with the highest numbers, for logo and mascot separately, will be awarded RMB10,000 each. All prizes total RMB200,000.
