On October 26, the 2014 FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) World Chengdu was concluded at the American Sports Center in southern Chengdu.
The three-day event attracted 100,000 spectators, according to the statistics from the organizing committee.
“I’m shocked by the local audience, who energetically threw themselves into the competitions during the event, in which I have not any regret participating,” said an official from the FISE organizing committee. “We will organize more interactive activities for spectators next year.”
It is the first FISE World in China, which is one of the biggest events of extreme sports in the world, and was initiated 17 years ago in Montpelier, France.
Water Sports Center: Venue of International Regatta Events
Xinjin Water Sport Center is located in Xinjin County at the most southerly tip on the territory of Chengdu, where many rivers running across the city converge and provide favorable conditions for water sports programs.

2014 China Equestrian Festival
The 2014 China Equestrian Festival will be held from Nov. 6 to 9 at Wenjiang Jinma Equestrianism Sports Park. The event consists of two parts, competitions and sideshows. The competitions include 2014 Longines Equestrian China Tour (Chengdu Stop), 2014 China Horse Speed Racing Tour Final, Sichuan Equestrian Barrel Racing, and Chengdu Youth Equestrian Skills Competition.
