Chengdu Offers Favorable Policies to Global Institutions, Companies

According to a policy released July 26 by Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, national institutions or companies from either Europe or the countries along the Belt and Road to locate in the Business & Innovation Center for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC), will be offered office rent reduction, operation subsidy and startup fund, etc.
Government organs from the countries along the Belt and Road to have service agencies in the center will be exempted from three-year rental of office with a floor area up to 1,000 square meters, and at the same time, get a one-time allowance for the decoration of the office amounting to RMB3 million.
Fortune Global 500 companies, world top 100 universities and research institutes to establish regional headquarters or R&D centers inside CCEC will be provided with a less than 2,000-square meter office space with free rental for three years, a total of RMB4 million allowance for the office decoration, and a maximum of RMB5 million for initial fund.
All these companies and institutions will enjoy one-stop services involving industrial & commercial and tax registration, accounting, legal consulting and language translation.
Venues are free of charge for CCEC to hold events involving investment, sci-tech, and trade, as well as international conferences and forums in the center. In addition, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone will give a maximum of RMB1 million subsidy for each of the event.
