A plethora of activities related to the Spring Festival, covering art, culture, film etc., will be held during the whole Spring Festival season.
The Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival in China, was described as "The Biggest Celebration on Earth" by a BBC documentary, a widely-watched three-part footage which records the experiences of five British presenters as they get involved in the Lunar New Year festivities.
As China's most important festival, Spring Festival is also the most important celebration for families during a week of official public holiday. In 2018,
the period of the festival is from February 15 to February 21.
Here in Chengdu, a plethora of activities related to the Spring Festival, covering art, culture, film etc., will be held during the whole Spring Festival season from late January to early March.
