Pino’s Life in Chengdu

"I enjoy living in Chengdu so much," said a foreigner who calls himself Pei Nuo appeared as the first contestant on the stage of Jiangsu Satellite TV's dating reality TV show If You Are the One.
"I enjoy living in Chengdu so much," said a foreigner who calls himself Pei Nuo(“裴诺” in Chinese), appeared as the first contestant on the stage of Jiangsu Satellite TV's dating reality TV show If You Are the One ( 《非诚勿扰》. Its literal translation would be “If you aren’t sincere, don’t bother me”) on May 2nd. The young man, who is now living and working in Chengdu, said in fairly good Mandarin, to the audience that he likes Chengdu people's life style very much and would like to stay here forever.
With light brown curly hair and a medium build, Pino is from Switzerland. He told the viewers on the show that he had lived in Chengdu for four years. "I used to do the same thing every day when I was a carpenter in my hometown. It was really a very boring job for me. I didn’t like this kind of life at all, and then I came to Chengdu."
Recently, reporters from gochengdu.cn interviewed Pino. He said during his stay in Chengdu he had spent two and a half years on learning the Chinese language at Sichuan University and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Then he worked as an English teacher at a Liyang Crazy English training center and as part-time models, and did some other jobs. He will open a western restaurant soon with his two partners in Chengdu.
In spare time, Pino likes playing mahjong and going out with friends for some beer. "I love living in Chengdu. There are so many interesting things to see and to do here," said Pino with a smile,"I hope to stay here forever."
