GoChengdu Invitation: Spring Outing to Dujiangyan City

Let's go to Dujingyan City next Friday!

The spring outing activity "Look for the Most Beautiful Spring in Chengdu", organized by local website gochengdu.cn, will set off for the third stop on April 21 in Dujiangyan City, where members will learn Taichi, appreciate the tea art and visit the world-famous Irrigation System.

We invite expatriates who love outings and sharing their experiences with others to join the group GoChengdu Gusto and take part in the program, free of charge.

Dujiangyan City

Northwest to downtown Chengdu, Dujiangyan City is a well-known tourist city in China and has the UNESCO World Heritage site — the Qingcheng Mountains and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System.

Qingcheng Taichi

Qingcheng Mountains are the birthplace of Taoism and Qingcheng Taichi has a long history. Gochengdu Gusto members will have the opportunity to join in the lecture by Liu Suibin, head of Qingcheng Sect, a school of traditional Chinese martial arts, who has a large number of followers, including some foreigners.

Long-neck Pot Tea Art

Watch the performance of long-neck pot tea art show, which combines various cultural elements, martial art and dance.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System

The irrigation system was built more than 2,000 years ago and is probably the oldest functioning water-control project in the world. The site of Dujiangyan Irrigation System presents a magnificent view of the mountains, the Minjiang River and the impressive architectures.
