Xu Liaoyuan's Bronze Art Exhibition

As the earliest alloy in human history, bronze is a mixture of copper and tin (or lead). Bronze has receded from people's daily life though many ancient art works made of the metal can be seen at museums around the world. The works on display, by famous contemporary artist Xu Liaoyuan, however, embodies his efforts in creating bronze ware with practical applications and a new aesthetic appeal.

Sichuan Conservatory Of Music's Yue Ming Chamber Orchestra was founded by Linyi and Xiayi from the Sichuan Folk Music Department of the conservatory. They hopes to carry forward the tradition of Chinese music into the future.
