Jinsha Site Museum
An exhibition highlighting relics unearthed from Pompeii will be held at the Jinsha Site Museum, to exhibit 120 pieces/sets of relics collected by Museo Archeologico Nazionale, including murals, marble statues, pottery, as well as bronze, gold and glass ware. By way of 3D modeling and interaction, the exhibition is aimed to show audiences the life of the residents in Pompeii on the eve of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD79.
Pompeii, an ancient Roman city near modern Naples, was destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD79.
