The exhibition titled Approaching the Chonghua Palace is underway at Chengdu Museum, displaying 88 pieces/sets of cultural relics from the Palace Museum. The Chonghua Palace, the private apartments of Emperor Qianlong (1711-1799), the longest serving emperor (1735-1796) in Chinese history, before he was crowned, is unveiled to the public for the first time in the exhibition.
The exhibition is based on the structure of the palace complex and showcases the exhibits according to different functions of buildings.
